For Swiggy Scenes, we built a visual-first discovery system that elevates how users browse and navigate events. We brought clarity, depth, and intention to the experience, ensuring every element supports more intuitive exploration.
The core challenge was to rethink how users discover events within Swiggy Scenes. Though the platform offered a rich mix of events and cultural moments, the discovery journey lacked intuitive flow.
We needed to make exploration feel more natural, more visual, and more immersive, not just a list of events. We had to uncover new ways of surfacing content that felt playful, intuitive, and intelligently organised.
We designed a dynamic, exploratory experience rather than a static interface. Experimenting with pinch-to-zoom interactions and iterations on ways to merge tiles and categories into one fluid, visual system.
We moved beyond standard card layouts and created a discovery model that adapts and responds as users explore.
The moodboard for Swiggy Scenes drew from the vibrant pulse of city exploration, bold, energetic, and visually dynamic. Heading Pro Compressed and Gilroy offered a clean and modern readability.
The palette combined deep violets, rich magentas, charcoal blacks, and a striking orange accent, creating a lively visual atmosphere.
Instead of designing another feed or card layout, we envisioned Scenes as a navigable world, one where event discovery becomes simpler and distinctly interactive.
We explored multiple directions, from a free-flowing grid to location-based discovery, mood-driven filtering, and date-wise browsing. The final concept took shape around a tile-zoom interaction, where users can zoom in and out as tiles dynamically reorganise to reveal either broad categories or deeper event details.
The visuals for Swiggy Scenes were crafted to feel bold and immersive. Rich gradients, expressive event tiles, and smooth pill-shaped filters create a dynamic atmosphere.
Every element is designed to guide discovery, making the interface feel lively, intuitive, and cinematic.
The final concept centred around a zoom-based discovery model that lets users seamlessly shift between broad overviews and detailed event information. As they zoom in and out, tiles intelligently reorganise to reveal categories, context, or specific events, creating a fluid sense of depth and hierarchy.
This interaction made discovery feel more intuitive and engaging, turning Scenes into a dynamic space that adapts to how users choose to explore.
The final experience is an intuitive and visually immersive discovery model for Swiggy Scenes. It combines fluid navigation with a rich visual identity, making browsing feel playful yet purposeful. Tiles rearrange dynamically, categories adapt based on context, and zoom interactions guide users seamlessly through layers of content.
