Team Brucira is currently the digital marketing strategy partner of the OPPO India division where we help the brand build a better connection with its audience by creating Indianized graphic illustrations.
The primary challenge was rethinking OPPO’s communication strategy from a design perspective to better connect with the Indian audience. OPPO aimed to reposition itself as a new-age brand in India, making its global appeal relatable to local consumers.
The task was to strike a balance between maintaining brand consistency across platforms like mobile browsers, app stores, and theme stores while ensuring a culturally relevant, cohesive experience that resonated with Indian users and strengthened their connection to the brand.
Brucira developed localized graphic illustrations for OPPO, focusing on creating a culturally relevant visual identity for the Indian audience.
The team crafted custom splash designs, banner icons, and visuals tailored for OPPO’s mobile browser, app store, and theme store. By blending global branding with Indian aesthetics, the solution effectively positioned OPPO as a modern brand in India.
This approach enhanced user engagement, bridging the gap between OPPO’s global identity and local relevance.


Our concept was to create fun, vibrant, and approachable illustrations, each intricately telling a story. This lively design significantly boosted user engagement and click rates, strengthening OPPO’s connection with its audience.


Instead of making generic illustrations, we uniquely designed visuals taking into consideration Indian skin tones, hair color, culturally appropriate elements, colours, monuments, etc that people could relate with. Keeping all of these insights in mind, we created rich illustrations for festivals like Diwali, Eid, Holi till social and important days and seasons.



We created banners for OPPO’s app and theme store, along with theme-based splash designs featuring top brands like PhonePe, Paytm, Netflix, and Zomato.
The project’s goal was to rebuild OPPO’s image for Indian users while expanding its target audience. Redefining the visual style was essential to increase user engagement and appeal to a broader audience, which posed a unique challenge in maintaining relevance and consistency across various platforms.

Our illustrations of Indian culture gained significant attention, increasing OPPO’s popularity and creating a positive buzz. This success allowed Brucira to expand its role from creating festive creatives to managing OPPO India’s entire digital marketing strategy.
